No one matched all five numbers in Wednesday night’s Quina lottery drawing, resulting in an accumulated jackpot of R$8.7 million (approximately $1.72 million USD), officials announced Thursday.
The winning numbers for the Quina 6955 contest were 06, 08, 18, 23, and 74. According to Caixa Econômica Federal, the state-owned bank that administers the lottery, 76 players correctly guessed four numbers, each receiving a prize of R$6,273.27 (approximately $1,242 USD). A total of 5,261 players matched three numbers, winning R$86.30 (approximately $17 USD) each, and 116,241 players matched two numbers, receiving R$3.90 (approximately $0.77 USD) apiece.
The Quina lottery offers six drawings per week, from Monday to Saturday at 9 p.m. Brasília time. Players can choose to select between five and fifteen numbers from a pool of eighty. A simple bet, selecting five numbers, costs R$3 (approximately $0.60 USD). The odds of winning the jackpot with a five-number bet are 1 in 24,040,016.
Players can also opt for the “Surpresinha da Quina,” where the numbers are randomly selected by the Caixa. A “Teimosinha da Quina” option allows players to use the same bet for consecutive drawings – 3, 6, 12, 18, or 24 contests.
The next Quina drawing, contest number 6956, is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026. Prizes of up to R$2,428.79 can be claimed at any Caixa-accredited lottery retailer or Caixa agency. Larger prizes, starting at R$2,428.80, require claiming at a Caixa agency with original identification and the original winning bet slip. Prizes of R$10,000 or more capture up to two business days to process after presentation at a Caixa agency.
Recent Quina results include the February 14th, 2026 drawing (6954) with numbers 02, 29, 34, 44, and 78.
