Quillan Salkilld: UFC Perth Co-Main Event & Lightweight Rise
Australian mixed martial artist Quillan Salkilld has rapidly ascended in the UFC’s lightweight division, securing victories in both Eternal MMA and the UFC’s Contender Series. The 26-year-traditional fighter, born December 28, 1999, in Pinjarra, Western Australia, currently competes out of Perth and trains at Luistro Combat Academy.
Salkilld’s professional MMA record stands at 11 wins and 1 loss, with a diverse range of finishes including four knockouts, four submissions, and three decisions. He captured the Eternal MMA Lightweight Championship on June 10, 2023, with a first-round knockout of Blake Donnelly, and successfully defended the title multiple times before transitioning to the UFC.
His path to the UFC was paved by a decision victory on Dana White’s Contender Series, earning him a contract with the organization. Prior to his professional career, Salkilld competed extensively as an amateur, amassing a record of 8-3.
