Quentin Boland: Acquitted of Attempted Murder, Three-Year Sentence

Boland Acquitted of Attempted Murder in Tenant Dispute

By Ethan Caldwell

Around 3:30 p.m., Quentin Boland allegedly cleared his victim by firing several shots. Teh detainee then drew a firearm to threaten the tenant before driving the barrel into the victim’s throat and firing.Fortunately, the weapon stopped at that time.

“If the victim is still alive, it is indeed as the defendant made use of a defective weapon. It’s all,” estimated the substitute sasso. The civil party also claimed that the suspect tried, once again, to fire, in vain. “P* , she is,” would have released Quentin Boland, visibly upset by the situation, according to the victim.

No Attempted Murder Charge

Faced with justice, less than a week ago, Quentin Boland strongly disputed this version of the facts. According to the defendant, no firearm was used. The forty-year-old claimed to have only exchanged “two punches” with his victim following a discussion that “turned badly.”

However, several testimonies, including that of his ex-wife, reported the presence of a firearm. According to neighbors, Quentin Boland is known for “dictating his law and terrorizing the whole neighborhood.” “I was in conflict with everyone. They want to harm me,” stated Quentin Boland.

While the prosecution had requested a heavy sentence of ten years in prison for all the facts, Quentin Boland ultimately received a much lighter sentence: three years in prison. The Gilly resident was acquitted of attempted murder, as the court considered that a weapon was present, without being able to determine whether it was a real firearm or an alarm pistol, or whether the weapon was loaded. The noise heard by the victim when the weapon was in his mouth could well “mean that the weapon was not loaded.”

To justify the sentence pronounced, the court cited the accused’s disturbing personality with antisocial and narcissistic traits, his history of violence, and his lack of remorse.

This case highlights the complexities of legal proceedings, particularly when determining intent and the functionality of alleged weapons. The acquittal on attempted murder charges, despite the presence of a weapon and a violent altercation, underscores the burden of proof required in criminal cases.
