Queens of Tallinn 2026: OlyBet Poker Announces Women’s Festival Schedule

August 21, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

From August 27 to 30, 2026, the Queens of Tallinn festival returns to the Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel. Organised by OlyBet Poker, the four-day event features women-only tournaments, team competitions, 24/7 cash games, and a landmark €555 Main Event, building on consecutive years of participation across Northern Europe.

The Growth and Economics of Northern Europe’s Premier Women’s Poker Festival

Created by OlyBet Poker as the first festival of its type in the region, the Queens of Tallinn has grown steadily since its 2023 inception, when the Main Event attracted 65 players. According to reporting from PokerNews, participation rose to 85 entries in 2024 before hitting a record 96 entries in 2025, generating a prize pool of €27,677. In that 2025 outing, Lithuania’s Giedre Valgemäe captured the title and €5,690 following a four-way final table deal.

A More Ambitious €555 Main Event and Expanded Side Game Lineup

The headline Queens of Tallinn Main Event features a €555 buy-in, marking a step up from previous years and creating the largest Main Event in the festival’s history. Action kicks off on Friday, August 28, playing through nine levels on Day 1 before resuming Saturday to narrow the field to the final nine players. The final table streams live on Sunday, August 30, maintaining a broadcast tradition established in prior editions.

Players unable to make direct buy-ins can access daily Queens Centrolls on Olybet Poker, feeding into weekly satellite finals that award seats to the Main Event. Alongside the centerpiece tournament, the four-day calendar includes more than 10 side events encompassing deepstacks, bounty formats, mixed games, turbos, and an open Win TV Series tournament. According to PokerNews coverage, the schedule also features the €200 PokerNews Queens Crown Deepstack on Saturday, August 29, offering a starting stack and 20-minute blind levels. Meanwhile, cash games run 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the duration of the festival at the Olympic Park Casino.

Community Structure and Team Challenges

Beyond individual tournament scores, the festival retains its signature emphasis on community and team dynamics.
