Later in the month, the Al Samriya left on August 25 bound for Singapore, while the Al Ghashamiya departed on September 17 toward Dahej on the western coast of India.
Return voyages of empty carriers point to the establishment of a fresh shipping cycle. The Bu Samra completed a round trip from China’s Tianjin port, entering the Gulf to reach Ras Laffan on September 21 without cargo. Concurrently, the Al Marrouna began its westward return journey empty after discharging in Pakistan. Analysts note that Qatar Energy is loading available empty tankers within the Gulf and supplying modest volumes to Kuwait to manage inventory levels, maintain minimum operational thresholds at its processing hubs, and preserve equipment readiness for a rapid output ramp-up.

According to data reported by the specialized energy platform, Qatari natural gas output experienced a 60% contraction, fundamentally altering export volumes and forcing tighter inventory management across the region.
