Sonora Prosecutor Denies Disappearance of Colombian Artists B-King and Regio Clown Within State
hermosillo, Sonora – The Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Sonora, Mexico, has stated there is no evidence to support claims of the disappearance of Colombian artists Bayron Sánchez, known as B-King, and another performer, Regio Clown, within its jurisdiction. This declaration comes after colombian President Gustavo Petro publicly requested assistance from Mexican authorities in locating the two musicians, who have been missing for six days.
The request from President Petro highlighted the concern for the safety of the artists, last seen September 16th in Mexico City after leaving a gym. He expressed hope for their safe return, describing them as “lovely young people who dare to sing to beauty and keep hope in their hearts.” The case has drawn attention from fellow artists, including J Balvin and DJ Marcela Reyes, who have joined the search efforts. Though, the Sonora Prosecutor’s Office clarified that investigations have not indicated the artists entered or disappeared within the state of Sonora.
B-king, 31, was last seen wearing a black shirt, white pants, and white tennis shoes.Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding their disappearance, with families awaiting data on their whereabouts. The lack of information after six days is fueling anxiety and prompting ongoing appeals for assistance from both sides of the border.
