Grenoble’s Pro D2 match against Provence Rugby is set to proceed despite a player protest earlier this week. Players returned to training facilities Thursday morning, participating in a meeting and weightlifting session in preparation for the Friday match.
The training resumption follows a Tuesday walkout by the team, triggered by the suspension of backs coach Nicolas Nadau. Nadau was reportedly sidelined following comments made regarding the match doctor during Grenoble’s September 24th match against Brive (24-21).The players’ refusal to train initially raised concerns about a potential strike impacting the Provence Rugby game. No players or staff are currently commenting on the situation.
