LONDON – Prince William disclosed that 2024 has been the most difficult year of his life, a period marked by the cancer diagnoses adn treatment of both his wife, Princess Kate, and his father, King Charles III. The Prince shared this personal reflection during an upcoming episode of Apple TV+’s “The Reluctant Traveler” wiht actor Eugene Levy.
The revelation underscores the immense personal strain experienced by the royal family as they navigated serious health concerns while maintaining public duties. The news arrives as both King Charles and Princess Kate have demonstrated encouraging recoveries and resumed engagements,though details regarding their specific diagnoses remain private. A preview of the episode, set to air October 3, shows William guiding Levy through Windsor Castle and enjoying a conversation with him over drinks at a local pub. “I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had,” William stated to Levy.
