Mother throws 38-Week Pregnant Daughter onto the Street in ’Four Hands On One Belly’
A heartwarming story of anticipation turned into a crisis for Nomi and her fiancé, Twum, featured on the Dutch reality series Four Hands On One Belly. Just as the couple prepared for the arrival of their child, a dispute with Nomi’s mother, Anna, led to a shocking and destabilizing eviction.
The episode began with Nomi expressing gratitude for her mother’s initial offer of shelter, allowing her to stay until after the baby was born despite a historically complex relationship. Nomi was actively preparing for motherhood, having secured maternity care and a midwife, and had recently received a marriage proposal from Twum, adding to their joy. Everything appeared to be falling into place.
However, the couple’s happiness was shattered following an argument with Anna. Channah Koerten, a support person for Nomi, received a distressing message detailing the immediate fallout: Nomi and Twum had been asked to leave the house. according to the message, Anna “couldn’t handle Nomi being there after an argument.” This abrupt displacement left Nomi, 38 weeks pregnant, experiencing panic attacks.
Koerten swiftly intervened, assisting the expectant parents in relocating to a nearby social shelter. The scene depicted a hurried packing process – a baby’s room, previously filled with lovingly prepared items, quickly emptied as belongings were boxed and a stroller readied for transport.
Koerten maintained contact with Nomi throughout the ordeal.Describing Nomi’s emotional state, Koerten shared, “She’s actually a little panicked.” Nomi reportedly felt completely overwhelmed by the situation. Later, Twum provided an update, having worked with Koerten to reassemble the boxed items and move them to the shelter. He conveyed his own sense of defeat, stating, “And I’m just lying here.”
the circumstances strongly suggest Nomi’s labor is imminent, and the unfolding events will be revealed in the next episode of Four Hands On One Belly. The series airs on NPO 3 on Tuesdays at 8:25 PM.
