Powerhouse Hobbs’ profile has been removed from AEW’s official website.
Hobbs, along with Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata, lost the AEW World Trios titles on AEW Collision this week. The episode taped on Wednesday aired Saturday night, and hobbs’ profile was removed sometime after the broadcast.
Hobbs is expected to sign with WWE.Dave Meltzer reported in the January 12 edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE was “very high” on him. Meltzer also discussed WWE’s interest in Hobbs during the January 15 episode of Wrestling Observer Radio,stating:
“With hobbs,WWE had expected to have him signed for quite a while. I know they thoght the match last Wednesday would be his last one, but he actually wrestled on Collision.”
