The fire at the south-central Poland facility began in the assembly section of a building dedicated to manufacturing composite structures and control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. According to Rafał Maciejczak, a State Fire Service spokesman cited by Polish Radio, the blaze was relatively small and brought under control in under two hours. Firefighters cut electricity to the structure, extinguished the flames, cleared smoke, and deployed detectors to rule out hazardous materials.

WB Electronics is Poland’s largest private arms manufacturer, supplying unmanned aerial systems—including reconnaissance and kamikaze drones—to Ukraine’s armed forces.
