Pokémon GO Dynamax Paths Event: GO Pass Rewards and Eternatus Return
Wild Area Progress Unlocks Early Access Passes
Pokémon GO trainers will automatically receive the Max Out Paths GO Pass on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time, launching a week of themed gameplay centered around Max Battles and the return of Eternatus.
The update brings distinct paths for players depending on their progress during the preceding Wild Area celebrations. According to Pokémon GO, trainers who claim tier-one rewards from the Wild Area GO Pass secure early access to the Max Out Paths pass starting Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The window to collect GO points and level up for extra rewards closes Monday, November 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Deluxe GO Pass Offers Accelerated Progression
The free GO Pass format includes standard rewards unlocked through point accumulation, while a deluxe version offers accelerated progression and enhanced prizes for 4.99 USD, Pokémon GO reported.
Trainers who claim the first tier of rewards in the Wild Area GO Pass receive the deluxe upgrade automatically at no charge. Players can upgrade to the deluxe tier at any point during the event and retroactively claim rewards from previously unlocked levels. All unlocked pass rewards expire Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Max Battles Populate Energy Nodes More Frequently
Max Out Paths ties directly into the aftermath of the Wild Area Global edition, running from Monday, November 16, through Monday, November 23, 2026, paranoiasgamersweb.com reported.
During the seven-day event, Max Battles populate energy nodes at an increased rate across the map. Paranoiasgamersweb.com noted that capturing event-themed Pokémon in the wild or completing Max Battles yields Max Particles, though these cannot be gathered via the Explorer Device or Pokémon GO Plus +. Wild spawns during the week include nearly all species previously featured in Max Battles, omitting Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
Eternatus Appears in Limited Max Battle Window
Eternatus makes a limited appearance specifically on Saturday, November 21, 2026, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. local time. Paranoiasgamersweb.com reported that while the Pokémon appears in Max Battles during this window, it cannot be caught directly from the encounters; instead, players must advance through the event’s GO Pass to secure a specimen. Max Battles completed during this window reward Eternatus Candy, which is required to train the Pokémon.
A dedicated Spotlight Hour runs Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, featuring Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble with a double-catch-candy bonus, according to paranoiasgamersweb.com. Field research tasks throughout the week also distribute Eternatus Candy to help players build up the resources needed for power-ups.
