PM ⁤Modi Inaugurates Development Projects,Addresses Manipur‘s Path‍ to Peace

imphal,September 13,2025 – prime Minister Narendra ⁣Modi arrived in Imphal today and⁣ inaugurated multiple development projects⁣ worth Rs 1,200 crore,marking his first visit ⁢to the state sence ethnic violence erupted between Meitei and Kuki communities in May 2023. The visit‍ included interactions with people living in relief camps and a pledge​ of continued support​ for restoring normalcy to the region.

Addressing the public, PM Modi⁤ stated⁢ the Centre is “making every possible effort to bring life back on track” in Manipur. He appealed⁢ to all organizations ‍to “move forward on the path of peace and fulfil their dreams.”

“Today, I promise you that I am with you, the Government of​ India is with you, the people of Manipur. The Government ​of India is making every possible effort to ‌bring life back on track in Manipur. ⁣For families who have lost​ their homes, our ‌government is helping to build 7,000 new houses…” he added.

The Prime Minister’s program⁢ began at the⁢ Kangla Fort complex⁢ in Imphal. He ⁣also engaged directly with individuals displaced by the ongoing conflict, offering reassurance and outlining government initiatives aimed at rehabilitation and⁤ reconstruction.
