Veteran Comedic Actress Pia Velsi Dies at 101

Rome – Pia Velsi, a beloved character actress known for her‌ comedic timing‍ and memorable roles in Italian cinema and television, has died at the age of 101.‌ Her passing marks the end of an ‍era for Italian entertainment, leaving⁣ behind a legacy of laughter and poignant portrayals ‍spanning decades.

Velsi’s ⁣career blossomed across stage, screen, and television, though she often⁤ shone in ⁤supporting roles that became instantly iconic. ⁤While never a leading lady, her presence enriched numerous productions, endearing her‍ to generations of‍ Italian audiences.
