Phreesia CEO Chaim Indig Named to The Software Report’s Top 50 CEOs of 2025

February 12, 2026 Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor Health

WILMINGTON, Del. – Chaim Indig, CEO and co-founder of Phreesia, has been recognized as one of the top 50 CEOs in the software industry by The Software Report for the third time, the company announced Thursday.

The annual award acknowledges leaders of software companies demonstrating success in delivering customer value and fostering mission-driven organizations. Honorees are selected through nominations from industry colleagues and evaluated on leadership, contributions to their field, and organizational performance, growth, and impact.

Since founding Phreesia in 2005, Indig has overseen the company’s evolution into a publicly traded Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider serving over 4,400 healthcare organizations. Phreesia’s platform aims to improve efficiency, increase revenue, address gaps in care, and enhance the patient experience, according to the company.

“I’m truly honored to receive this recognition,” Indig said in a statement. “To me, it’s a testament to our team’s tireless work to support healthcare organizations and their patients, and to achieve our mission of making care easier every day.”

The recognition comes as Phreesia continues to expand its role in the healthcare technology sector. The company reported facilitating approximately 170 million patient visits in 2024, representing roughly one in seven patient visits across the United States.

Indig was likewise recently named a Top Executive of 2025 by The Healthcare Technology Report. Phreesia itself was also recognized as one of The Software Report’s Top 50 Software Companies of 2025.

Phreesia offers digital solutions for patient intake, outreach, and education, and focuses on enabling patients to accept a more active role in their care.
