Phoenix Mercury star Satou Sabally ruled out of Game 4 of the WNBA Finals

Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally will miss‍ Game 4 of the WNBA Finals, the team announced​ October 10, 2025. The injury considerably impacts the Mercury’s‍ chances of forcing a decisive Game 5 ​against the Las ⁢Vegas Aces.

sabally sustained a left ankle sprain during Game 3 on October 8, 2025, ​adn ⁤subsequent evaluation ruled her unavailable ⁣for Friday’s contest. Her absence is a​ critical blow‍ to Phoenix, as the ⁣6-foot-4 forward has been a dominant force throughout ‌the playoffs, averaging 18.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per‌ game.The mercury trail the Aces 2-1 in the best-of-five series. ⁣

“It’s incredibly disappointing ‌for satou ‍and for our team,” Mercury head coach Vanessa Nygaard stated.⁣ “She’s a vital part of what we do, but we have full confidence in​ the players ‍who will⁢ step up in her place.”
