Phillies Place trea Turner, Alec Bohm on Injured List

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Phillies announced ‍September 8, 2025, that infielders Trea Turner and Alec Bohm have been placed on the 10-day injured list.The moves were made prior to the team’s game against the Miami Marlins at Citizens Bank ⁤Park.

The Phillies are navigating a crucial stretch of the season as they contend for a playoff berth in the National League. Turner sustained a hamstring injury during the september 7th game, while Bohm is dealing with a left oblique strain. While Turner’s injury is ⁣not believed to be season-ending, his‍ absence represents a notable blow to the Phillies’ lineup. Bohm’s injury further complicates matters for manager Rob Thomson, who now faces roster challenges with ‍key contributors sidelined.

Turner,a key offensive‌ threat,is batting .275 with 23 ​home runs and 74 RBIs⁤ this season.
