Pharrell Williams Sued by Former Neptunes Partner Chad Hugo Over Financial Disputes

Pharrell⁣ Williams is facing a lawsuit from his former producing partner, ‍Chad Hugo, alleging breach of fiduciary duty and failure to account for earnings.

Hugo, a ‌co-founder of The Neptunes and‍ N.E.R.D. wiht Williams, filed the lawsuit on Friday, almost two years after‌ the duo announced⁢ their professional separation.

According to‍ the lawsuit, obtained by TheWrap, Hugo’s legal team accuses Williams⁣ of a “systemic denial of [Hugo’s] contractual and ownership rights in the company and in The Neptunes Entities.”
