Peter Windhofer & Kerstin Lechner: Star Guests at Exclusive Event

Vienna’s Immersium museum launched its new “World of Mysteries – The Immersive Experience” exhibition with a VIP opening on Thursday, February 19, 2026, drawing a crowd of over 100 prominent figures from the Austrian arts and entertainment scene.

Among those attending the event were model Kerstin Lechner, mezzo-soprano Zoryana Kushpler, presenter Kati Bellowitsch, actor Peter Windhofer, director Marvin Kren, presenter Alexander Rüdiger, former Miss Austria Tanja Duhovich, model Martina Gleissebner-Tesky, presenter Eser Akbaba, tennis guru Andreas Du Rieux, and Schönbrunn director Klaus Panholzer, according to multiple reports.

The exhibition, housed across 1,100 square meters on three floors, utilizes projection technology, lighting, sound, and physical sets to create a 60-minute immersive journey through some of history’s most enduring enigmas. Visitors are transported from the pyramids of Giza to the Nazca Lines, Stonehenge, and Chichén Itzá, with the mysteries reinterpreted within a cohesive narrative.

Univ-Prof. Dr. Mag. Wolfgang Neubauer, a renowned archaeologist, served as the scientific advisor for the exhibition, guiding its conceptual development. Markus Beyr, CEO of IMMERSIUM:WIEN, hosted the event, with Norbert Reichart acting as co-producer, and curator. Reichart, alongside the creative team, oversaw the project from its inception to implementation.

The launch event signals Immersium’s ambition to establish itself as a cultural hub appealing to a broad demographic, according to attendees. The exhibition features interactive puzzles, symbolic light installations, and digital experience spaces, challenging visitors to engage as explorers. A central component is a 360° immersive show where world monuments are visually transformed into geometric patterns and cross-cultural symbols.

The exhibition is open to the public following the VIP launch, with no immediate plans announced for expansion to other locations.
