Peruvian Footballer Accused of Cheating on Pregnant Wife & Domestic Abuse

The wife of Sport Boys goalkeeper Steven Rivadeneyra has publicly accused him of infidelity with fitness influencer Georgina Dixon, alleging the affair occurred while she was seven and a half months pregnant. Tania Herrera Rambla detailed her discovery of the alleged relationship in a televised interview, presenting evidence of communication between her husband and Dixon.

Herrera Rambla claims she found compromising photos, videos, and conversations on Rivadeneyra’s phone on January 21st, leading to a confrontation with both the footballer and Dixon. According to Herrera Rambla, she directly informed Dixon that Rivadeneyra was married and expecting a child. “I told her he was a married man, that I was pregnant,” she stated, as reported by La Republica. She further alleged that Rivadeneyra was unfaithful to her with other women as well.

The accusations, first aired on the program ‘Magaly TV, La Firme,’ have sparked a media controversy in Peru. Herrera Rambla also revealed she was evicted from the couple’s shared apartment just three days before giving birth, following her confrontation with Rivadeneyra regarding the alleged affair. This detail has drawn significant public criticism.

Dixon responded to the allegations via chat messages, which were also broadcast on ‘Magaly TV, La Firme.’ She claimed Rivadeneyra had told her they were separated, stating, “She only told me they were separated (…) I also don’t want to be seen as the other woman since I never intended to have anything.” However, Herrera Rambla countered this claim, stating she encountered Rivadeneyra and Dixon together at the Country Club on February 24th – the same location where they were married – which she described as a profound disrespect.

Beyond the infidelity claims, the situation has taken a potentially legal turn. Herrera Rambla alleges that Rivadeneyra reacted violently after she confronted him with the evidence of the affair, and that being forced to exit their home so close to her due date was particularly damaging. ATV.pe reported that this aspect of the case has generated widespread condemnation.

As of Wednesday, March 25, 2026, neither Rivadeneyra nor Dixon have issued a comprehensive public statement addressing the specific allegations of violence or the timeline of events presented by Herrera Rambla. Sport Boys, the football club for which Rivadeneyra plays, has not yet commented on the situation.
