Lima – The Supreme Court of Peru has rejected the appeal of President Pedro Castillo, deposed by Parliament, against pre-trial detention. The court announced it after a hearing via Twitter on Tuesday (local time). According to the Peruvian broadcaster “RPP NotĂcias”, Judge CĂ©sar San MartĂn Castro was of the opinion that the investigations against Castillo due to the charge of rebellion were justified.
