Patricija Eiduka 11th in Cross-Country Skiing at Milan-Cortina Olympics | Latvia Results

A small gathering of supporters, family members, and representatives from the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK) welcomed Latvia’s winter athletes at Riga Airport following the conclusion of the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Italy.

Patrīcija Eiduka achieved the highest result for Latvia in the Italian games, finishing 11th in the 50-kilometer classic style cross-country skiing event. According to reports, Eiduka also placed 15th in the 10-kilometer free style race and 23rd in the 20-kilometer skiathlon.

Raimo Vīgants secured 31st place in the 50-kilometer distance event in Valdifiemme. He also finished 51st in the skiathlon, 52nd in the sprint, and 46th in the 10-kilometer free style race.

Latvia’s team in Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo also included Kitija Auziņa, Linda Kaparkalēja, Samanta Krampe, Lauris Kaparkalējs, and Niks Saulītis.

The games concluded in Italy on Sunday, February 23, 2026, according to Apollo.lv.
