Park Shin-hye: February’s Most Popular Drama Actor
South Korean actress Park Shin-hye currently leads February’s rankings of drama actor brand reputation, according to data released Tuesday. Her prominence is largely attributed to her role in the recently aired television series, Undercover Miss Hong.
The ranking, which measures actors’ influence and public recognition based on media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness, places Park Shin-hye at the top with a score of 4,117,879. This marks a significant achievement for the actress, who first gained recognition as a child star in the early 2000s with roles in Stairway to Heaven (2003) and Tree of Heaven (2006).
Park’s career has continued to flourish with leading roles in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful dramas, including You’re Beautiful (2009), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014-2015), and Doctors (2016). More recently, she starred in Memories of the Alhambra (2018-2019), Doctor Slump (2024), and The Judge from Hell (2024).
The actress has also been recognized for her philanthropic work through the Starlight Angel Project. She was included in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40 list in 2015, 2017, 2021, and 2022, demonstrating her sustained influence within the entertainment industry.
Following Park Shin-hye in the February rankings are Ahn Bo-hyun, whose performance in Spring Fever contributed to his second-place position, and Ji Sung, recognized for his work in The Judge Returns. Lee Joo Bin, also from Spring Fever, and Ko Kyung Pyo round out the top five.
Park Shin-hye, born February 18, 1990, in Gwangju, South Korea, is married to actor Choi Tae-joon and has one child. She is represented by S.A.L.T Entertainment.
