Pamela Anderson Addresses Romance Rumors with Liam Neeson, Denies “Silly Games”
MIAMI – Actress Pamela Anderson has directly responded too speculation surrounding a romantic connection with Liam Neeson, firmly stating her sincerity and dismissing suggestions the chemistry displayed was manufactured. The response comes after weeks of public interest sparked by their appearances together promoting their new film, “The Naked Gun,” and Anderson’s stage production of “Camino Real.”
Anderson addressed the rumors in a recent statement, emphasizing the professional nature of the connection while acknowledging the power of on-screen chemistry. She explained that portraying love is part of her job as an actress and that a convincing portrayal is “the greatest compliment.” She also stressed her commitment to authenticity, stating, “Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness… I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth.”
The speculation began following premieres of “The Naked Gun,” where Neeson plays the son of the late leslie Nielsen’s character, Detective Frank Drebin jr., and Anderson appears as a co-star investigating a murder. Both actors publicly praised each othre, with Anderson describing Neeson as “so kind and generous” during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. Neeson, in turn, highlighted Anderson’s “spirit” and shared fondness for her laughter.
