Pakistan Restricts Foreign Media Travel and Bans Al Jazeera

Pakistan has mandated that all foreign media personnel obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Information to report outside the cities of Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Foreign media representatives are now restricted from traveling to regions outside the three major urban centers of Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi without official government clearance.
