Oura Health Oy,the Finnish company specializing in smart ring ⁣technology,has announced the release of a new,premium version of its Oura Ring‌ 4. The ⁤Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, priced ‌at $499,​ utilizes ceramic materials – a ⁢move designed to appeal to the company’s predominantly ⁤female⁣ customer base.

According‌ to a company statement released Wednesday, the ceramic model​ offers enhanced sweat and‍ scratch ⁢resistance compared to‍ the existing titanium Oura Ring 4, which retails for $349. The new ring ​is currently available ​in four colors: light green,off​ white,pink,and dark blue.

While ⁣the ceramic version ‌represents a meaningful price increase over the base model, it aligns ‌with the cost of previous premium⁤ finishes offered for earlier Oura Ring iterations, such as “gold” ⁢and “rose gold”.
