Expo 2025‌ Osaka/Kansai‌ Welcomes Visitors ​Amid Typhoon watch

Osaka, Japan – ​September 5, ‍2025 – ⁤the⁢ 2025 Osaka/Kansai ‌Expo opened as scheduled today, September 5th, at 9:00 ⁤AM, following a strong showing of⁢ 138,000 visitors on ​Thursday,⁣ September 4th. Despite forecasts of an approaching typhoon and reported rainfall at the ⁢venue this morning, the⁤ Expo site remains open with ‌standard⁣ operating hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00​ PM.
