OPPO Find X9 Ultra: 10x Optical Zoom & 200MP Camera Teased
OPPO is intensifying its pre-launch campaign for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, with a first look at its advanced camera capabilities. The company is highlighting a significant leap forward in optical zoom technology, now reaching 10x magnification without compromising image quality.
A recently released video showcases a substantial camera module featuring a teleconverter lens that retracts into a circular housing. This design choice signals OPPO’s continued commitment to sophisticated optical solutions, rather than relying solely on software-based digital zoom, according to the company.
While details remain limited, OPPO’s teaser campaign clearly indicates an ambition to dominate mobile photography in 2026. The combination of a teleconverter and 10x optical zoom positions the Find X9 Ultra as a strong contender in the high-end camera phone market.
Beyond the initial teaser, OPPO has released sample photos taken with the 10x telephoto lens. These images demonstrate sharp detail even at high magnification, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on optical technology for long-distance photography.
According to leaked specifications, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a multi-camera system with at least four rear sensors. The primary sensor is expected to be a 200MP Sony LYT-901 with a 1/1.12-inch sensor size, potentially making it one of the most advanced flagship sensors of the year.
The device is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and include a large battery exceeding 7,000mAh. This suggests OPPO is prioritizing not only camera performance but too overall power and endurance.
Notably, OPPO has confirmed that the “Ultra” series will be available globally for the first time, a departure from previous generations that had limited regional availability. The official launch is scheduled for April.
