Opera Las Vegas Announces Auditions for 2025-2026 OLV Studio Artists Program
LAS VEGAS, NV – opera Las Vegas (OLV) is accepting applications for its 2025-2026 Studio Artists Program, with live auditions scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the university of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The program offers emerging opera singers intensive performance experience and professional development opportunities.
The OLV Studio Artists Program serves as a crucial stepping stone for vocal artists seeking to launch professional careers. Selected artists will gain performance opportunities with Opera Las Vegas, exposure to industry professionals, and the chance to contribute to both mainstage productions and the company’s school touring initiatives. Applicants not selected for the Studio Program will still be considered for admission to UNLV’s graduate voice programs.
Auditions will be held in the Alta Ham Fine Arts Building, Room 147, on the UNLV campus, located at 4505 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154.Singers are required to prepare four opera or operetta arias in contrasting styles and languages, with a contemporary selection strongly encouraged.Repertoire currently under consideration for future seasons includes works by Bel Canto, Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, and Heggie, alongside a potential school touring production of Frida and the Bravest girl in the World.
Applicants should note that neither OLV nor UNLV provide ground transportation or housing, and a travel stipend for the live audition will not be provided.
