Olympique de Marseille is currently managing injuries to five players-Amir Murillo, Facundo Medina, Nayef Aguerd, Hamed Traoré, and Amine Gouiri-potentially impacting the team’s performance in upcoming matches. The club released a medical update November 20, 2025, detailing the nature of each injury and ongoing treatment plans, but did not provide specific return timelines.

The injuries span a range of severity and affect key positions within the squad. Murillo sustained a left thigh muscle injury while representing Panama, and is undergoing treatment with a re-evaluation scheduled in the coming days.Medina is recovering from a sprained right ankle, with daily monitoring of his progress. Aguerd is experiencing the onset of pubalgia, and is receiving care in coordination with the medical staff of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.Traoré is sidelined with a right thigh muscle injury and is following an individualized rehabilitation program. according to the club’s statement, murillo’s injury is a “muscle injury of the left thigh,” and he is “following an appropriate treatment protocol.” Medina’s “sprained right ankle” requires ongoing treatment and daily progress assessments. Aguerd’s “begining of pubalgia” is being addressed with “specific care…to limit the symptoms and support the gradual recovery.” Traoré is dealing with a “muscle injury of the right thigh” and is engaged in a “individualized rehabilitation program.” Gouiri’s recovery from a “right shoulder dislocation operated on” is “progressing as expected, with enhanced monitoring.”
