Oh, the Places You’ll Go!: Ariana Grande and Josh Gad Star in Animated Adaptation

Ariana Grande is set to voice a lead role in Warner Bros.’ animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s iconic “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”, marking her second collaboration with “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu. The film, slated for a march 2028 release, will feature original music from the acclaimed EGOT-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for thier work on “Dear Evan Hansen,” “La La Land,” and “The Greatest Showman.”

Grande, who is also reprising her role as Glinda in the upcoming “Wicked” films, confirmed the news on Instagram alongside co-star Josh Gad. gad, celebrated for his roles in “Frozen” and “The Book of Mormon,” expressed his excitement for the project, hinting at a “vrey very special” creation. This animated venture adds to Grande’s burgeoning film career, which also includes a role in the fourth “Meet the Parents” movie, scheduled for November 2026. Meanwhile, Gad is preparing to join “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo in “Jesus Christ Superstar” at the Hollywood Bowl, and has several other film projects in development, including “Spaceballs 2,” “Adulthood,” and “Frozen 3.”
