Spring 2026 Graduation Application Deadline Approaches
CHAPEL HILL, NC – Students aiming to graduate in May 2026 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill have a critical deadline looming: the application for graduation in ConnectCarolina closes on Monday, February 23, 2026. Eligible students must submit thier application by this date to be awarded their degree in Spring 2026.
This deadline marks a key step for graduating students, ensuring their academic records are properly processed adn degrees conferred. Beyond the graduation application, the Registrar’s calendar outlines a series of significant dates throughout the Spring 2026 semester impacting both undergraduate and graduate students. These include the end of classes on Monday, april 27, 2026, when absences (AB’s) and incompletes (IN’s) from Spring 2025 will change to F* for Graduate Students. The same date also marks the close of the Undergraduate Academic Progress Report period.
Final grade rosters become available in connectcarolina on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, with official submissions due 72 hours after scheduled final exams. Reading Days are scheduled for April 28, May 1, and May 6, 2026, interspersed with Spring Semester Examination Days from April 29 through May 7, 2026.
