Born on September 28, 1931, in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Mrs. Webb was a daughter of the late Lester and Sara Boggs. Throughout her life, she shared a long-standing partnership with her late husband, Milton C. Webb, Sr. The couple was married for 70 years before his passing. Together, they traveled extensively across the United States, enjoying life to the fullest through numerous trips.
Community Involvement at Heights Baptist Church Daycare
Beyond her travels, Mrs. Webb maintained a dedicated involvement in her community through her work with children. She spent over ten years working at the Heights Baptist Church Daycare, where she cared for babies and young children. Known as an active individual, she kept busy with household tasks well into later life, frequently tending to chores like vacuuming, cutting the grass, baking cornbread, and preparing sweet tea or pinto beans.
Funeral Services and Family Survivors at the Historic First Baptist Church
Interment will follow the Tuesday service in the cemetery of the Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island, where Mrs. Webb was a member. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milton C. Webb, Sr., her daughter Kay Stanley, and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children Ann (Steve) Holz-Meister of Salisbury, North Carolina, Milton C. “Mickey” (Kathy) Webb, Jr. of Beech Island, South Carolina, and Renee Webb of Aiken, South Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Williams, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers for the service are Steve Holz-Meister, Scott Holz-Meister, Markus Holz-Meister, Milton Webb, Jr., and Lane Boggs.
