Oberpullendorf HS Table Tennis: Girls Defend State Championship Title 2026
Elina Fuchs, representing the TTC Oberpullendorf, secured a gold medal in the U19 Girls’ Doubles at the Austrian Table Tennis Championships in Kapfenberg on March 10, 2025, alongside Nina Skerbinz. The pair defeated Pichler/Tang in the final with a score of 3-0.
Fuchs also achieved bronze medals in both the U19 Girls’ Singles and Mixed Doubles events at the same championships. In the singles competition, she was defeated 4-0 by Nina Skerbinz in the semi-final. In the mixed doubles, Fuchs and Tobias Tischberger lost 3-1 to Skerbinz and her brother Patrick in the semi-final.
The TTC Oberpullendorf also saw successes from Sophie Schuster and Kristina Östrreicher, who both won their matches in the deciding set against Gabriella Kezai, contributing to the team’s overall performance.
The U19 championships took place on March 1 and 2, with Fabian Wolf also representing the TTC Oberpullendorf.
Looking ahead, the USATT is hosting several national table tennis events in 2026, including the US National Table Tennis Championships in San Jose from July 3rd to 9th, and the US OPEN TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIPS presented by BUTTERFLY in Myrtle Beach from September 5th to 7th. A USATT Junior National Ranking Tournament II is scheduled for Katy, Texas, from April 10th to 14th. The USATT Pacific Regional Championship will be held in Milpitas, California, February 20-22, 2026.
The Southeast Championship, offering $6750 in prize money, is set for Davie, Florida, from March 27th to 29th, 2026. The Northeast Championships will take place in Pleasantville, Modern York, May 16-17, 2026, and the Midwest Championships are scheduled for Beloit, Wisconsin, June 13-14, 2026.
The WTT YC Houston 2026, a non-sanctioned event for US players, is scheduled for March 20-23, 2026, in Katy, Texas. The WTT YC SFO II, also non-sanctioned, will be held in Burlingame, California, May 22-25, 2026.
