Oasis Don’t Look Back in Anger Documentary Premiere Date Set for Disney+ and Hulu

The documentary was scripted by Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.

Release and Additional Content

Following a theatrical release earlier this month in the U.K. and Ireland, and a world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu beginning October 9. The streamers will also host new footage from a joint interview with the brothers, as well as full performances of Wonderwall and Slide Away. Tickets for theatrical and IMAX screenings, including early access showings, are currently on sale now. Disney+ EMEA’s Angela Jain said that bringing the documentary to as many people as possible, with exclusive unseen footage too, is so exciting for fans.

The Band’s History

The documentary briefly touches on the band’s history, showing how Oasis conquered the world in the 1990s with hits like Wonderwall and Roll With It. It also shows footage of the band’s abrupt end in Paris in 2009 after a backstage fight, with a promoter announcing The band doesn’t exist any more following a huge fight together in the dressing room. Footage indicates that prior to rehearsals, the brothers didn’t speak for 15 years, as stated in a caption during the film, according to Yahoo.
