LAS VEGAS – The estate of O.J. Simpson has formally acknowledged a creditor ‌claim from Fred Goldman for $57,997,858.12, possibly bringing an end⁣ to‍ a legal battle spanning three decades following the 1994 murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

Goldman initially filed ‍a claim ⁣in July 2024 for $117,041,675.27 seeking full resolution of the original judgment. The underlying civil lawsuit was brought by Goldman after his son,Ron,was killed alongside Nicole Brown Simpson at her Los ⁢Angeles home on June 12,1994. O.J. Malcolm LaVergne, executor of Simpson’s ⁣estate, stated in court filings that the ⁣size of Goldman’s claim necessitates the estate be handled as a liquidation estate.
