France 2 is adjusting its programming schedule once again for the popular singing game show, N’oubliez pas les paroles, postponing its return following the conclusion of the Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. While most of the channel’s programs will resume broadcasting on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, the show hosted by Nagui will not be among them.
The pause in regular programming began on February 6th, 2026, as France 2 dedicated its airtime to coverage of the Winter Olympics, with exceptions made for Télématin and news broadcasts. With the closing ceremony of the Games taking place on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, a partial resumption of regular schedules was anticipated. However, N’oubliez pas les paroles, along with Tout le monde a son mot à dire, will remain off-air for an additional day.
Instead of the singing competition, France 2 will air a special program, “JO: La France célèbre ses champions,” on Monday, February 23rd, beginning at 5:10 PM local time. The broadcast will honor French athletes at a ceremony in Albertville, attended by 6,500 spectators and featuring prominent figures from French Olympic history.
Nagui himself announced the delayed return of N’oubliez pas les paroles during the February 5th, 2026 episode, stating, “Olympics until February 23rd. We will be back on Tuesday, February 24th with Maxime the maestro.” Maxime, the current “maestro” contestant, has accumulated a prize total of 33,000 euros over six consecutive wins.
The resumption of the show on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 6:40 PM will witness a return to its regular broadcast schedule, airing from Monday to Saturday between 6:40 PM and 7:50 PM. However, further schedule disruptions are expected starting March 7th, 2026, with the commencement of the Paralympic Games in Milan-Cortina, though the afternoon programming, including N’oubliez pas les paroles, is not anticipated to be affected by these changes.
