nottingham forest Target Fulham Manager Marco Silva as Replacement for Postecoglou
nottingham Forest have identified Fulham manager Marco Silva as their primary target to succeed Ange Postecoglou, according to sources. The move comes after a swift and unexpected departure of Postecoglou, following a period of speculation surrounding his future at the City Ground.
Silva has established Fulham as a stable Premier League side sence taking charge, securing their fourth consecutive season in the top division after promotion from the Championship in 2021-22. He signed a two-year deal in July 2023, extending his contract at Craven Cottage until 2026.
Forest are seeking a manager with Premier League experience following the exits of Nuno espírito Santo and Postecoglou. Other names linked with the vacancy include Sean Dyche, a former Forest trainee, and Roberto Mancini, the former Manchester City manager and Italy coach.
Fulham owner Shahid Khan recently stated his commitment to Silva, telling Talksport: “He’s been great. I really like him, not only as a person, as a football manager, head coach. Definitely, I think he’s in our long-term plans.”
Silva’s potential arrival would mark his fifth Premier League club, should he leave Fulham. The summer transfer window at Fulham saw limited permanent outfield additions, with only Brazilian forward Kevin arriving, alongside loan signings Samuel Chukwueze and teenager Jonah Kusi-Asare.
