DumontS recent success is interwoven with the accomplishments of her teammates. Daniel santos secured a victory at UFC 303, followed by Charles Oliveira’s dominant performance in Rio de Janeiro. This weekend, Dumont and Allan Nascimento will compete, with Marco Tulio slated for a future fight and Ian Machado Garry also scheduled to compete in Qatar. “It’s a very powerful energy. We’re loaded with energy,” Dumont said, surrounded by teammates at the UFC Performance Institute. “(It was) ‘Willycat’ before Charles, and then there is Charles, and then there is Allan, then there is me, and we ‘Matuto’ coming up, then after that, Ian; there is so much activity. It’s not just in the UFC; there are so many athletes competing elsewhere as well,so many athletes doing well,and everyone feeds off one another because when one wins,everyone wins and grows.”
dumont emphasized the supportive atmosphere within the team, stating, “It’s a lot of good energy coming up, and everybody is just helping each other to grow.” She intends to capitalize on this energy in her bout with Vieira, aiming to add another win to the team’s notable run.
