Ninkasi Montpellier: Free Stand-Up & Magic Show | March 24th

Montpellier, France will host a comedy and magic evening at the Ninkasi bar in the Port Marianne district on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, beginning at 8:00 PM. The event, dubbed “South Comedy Club – Special Magic Edition,” will feature a lineup of four comedians and magicians from the south of France and beyond, each performing a 15-minute set.

The Ninkasi, located at 32 Place Pablo Picasso, is opening its doors for an evening dedicated to humor, according to Montpellier Tourism. Performers will showcase a range of comedic styles, from satire and absurdist humor to everyday anecdotes, with a particular emphasis on magic. The event aims to provide a diverse and memorable experience for attendees.

Admission to the show is free, operating on a “pay-what-you-want” basis, allowing audience members to contribute financially to the artists based on their enjoyment. Organizers strongly recommend reservations to secure a spot, though a limited number of places will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for those without prior booking.

The Ninkasi in Montpellier is accessible via Tramway line L.3, stopping at Pablo Picasso. The venue is also near Montpellier train station.

The Ninkasi bar also hosts regular comedy events, including “Mardis Découvertes” (Discoveries Tuesdays), an open-mic night, and “Jeudis Têtes d’affiches” (Headliners Thursdays) featuring established comedians alongside emerging talent. A “Mardis Découvertes” event is scheduled for March 31st, 2026, at the same time.
