Hutson, 20, immediately bolsters the Canadiens’ defensive pipeline after completing a standout sophomore season at Boston University. He was named to the Hockey East First Team All-Star and a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, recognizing the top NCAA men’s ice hockey player.
