The technology is now integrated into the mobile applications of four major banks: Bank of Venezuela, BNC, Banking, and Banagual, marking a significant advancement in the nation’s financial system.

Suiche 7B has been instrumental in modernizing Venezuela’s payment landscape, initially with manual digitalization, followed by QR code scanning. NFC S7B® represents the next step – enabling fast, secure payments simply by holding a smartphone near a compatible receiver.
How to Pay with NFC S7B®:
The process is straightforward:
- Open your bank’s mobile application.
- Select the “Mobile Payment NFC S7B” option.
- Hold your phone near the receiver’s device.
- Enter the payment amount and confirm.
- A confirming sound indicates a successful transaction.
Currently, NFC S7B® supports person-to-person (P2P) and person-to-commerce (P2C) transactions. Future phases will enable commerce-to-person (C2P) payments, expanding the service’s reach.

Suárez highlighted the widespread adoption of QR codes across various sectors, including supermarkets, pharmacies, and even public transportation, where drivers display codes on helmets and jackets. NFC technology promises an even more streamlined experience. She envisions a future where public transport drivers can receive fares directly on their phones via NFC, offering a solution for immediate payments.
