Andrew Garfield Addresses Potential Return for ‘Social Network’ Sequel
LOS ANGELES, CA – Andrew Garfield has acknowledged the possibility of reprising his role as eduardo Saverin in Aaron Sorkin‘s upcoming sequel to The Social Network, titled ”The Social Reckoning.” While not confirming his involvement,Garfield indicated openness to revisiting the character should the chance arise.
the potential return comes as details emerge about the film, which focuses on Frances Haugen (played by Mikey Madison), a former Facebook engineer who leaked internal documents exposing the company’s practices, and Jeff Horwitz (played by Jeremy allen White), the Wall Street Journal reporter she collaborated with. Jeremy Strong will star as mark Zuckerberg, billed third in the cast. Sorkin is writing and directing the project, slated for theatrical release on October 9, 2026.
