HIAS Pennsylvania Announces November Volunteer Information Session
PHILADELPHIA, PA – Individuals interested in volunteering with HIAS Pennsylvania are invited to attend a new Volunteer Information Session on Thursday, November 6th, at 5:30 PM. The session will be held virtually via Zoom, offering prospective volunteers a extensive overview of opportunities to support the organization’s social services programs.
HIAS Pennsylvania relies heavily on volunteer support to deliver critical aid and advocacy to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. This information session is a mandatory first step for anyone wishing to contribute their time and skills, ensuring all volunteers are fully informed about the organization’s mission, values, and operational procedures. Those interested in pro bono legal volunteering are exempt from this requirement.
The session will run from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and provide details on available volunteer roles and the impact volunteers have on the lives of those served by HIAS PA. Prospective volunteers are required to attend only one information session.
