New Song Homesick Out Now + Phillip Phillips Acoustic Performance

Phillip Phillips is releasing a new song, “Homesick,” on April 1st, the musician announced Tuesday.

The announcement follows a period of songwriting for Phillips, who noted in June 2025 that he had been “writing a lot this past year and need to finish a lot of songs.” A video posted to his Facebook page at the time showed Phillips with his dog, Patch, and included a snippet of “Homesick.”

Phillips recently performed an acoustic version of his song “Gone, Gone, Gone” at the RP Theatre, according to a post shared Tuesday. He also performed “Home” at 101.9 KINK in a PNC Live Studio Session in August 2023.
