New Resource Platform for Private Security Workers | FeSMC-UGT

February 12, 2026 Priya Shah – Business Editor Business

The FeSMC-UGT, a Spanish trade union representing workers in the private security sector and related services, launched a new content platform today, February 12, 2026, designed to streamline access to information for its members. The platform aims to provide a centralized hub for documentation, resources, and direct links to the union’s official social media channels.

According to a statement released by the union, the platform is intended to improve communication, transparency, and agility in information access for all workers within the private security and auxiliary services industries. The launch follows a period of negotiation regarding the 2027-2030 collective bargaining agreement for the sector, with the union highlighting a projected real wage increase of over 16% for workers during that period.

Diego Giraldez, the State Security Private Responsible for FeSMC-UGT, announced the launch of the “Tabla de Contenidos” (Table of Contents) via a blog post today. The platform is designed to offer a structured approach to navigating the union’s informational resources.

FeSMC-UGT Madrid is currently promoting a free recycling course in explosives, scheduled to begin on February 10, 2026, through its communication channels, including a dedicated playlist on YouTube featuring videos related to private security and auxiliary services. The union’s focus on training and professional development underscores its commitment to supporting workers in a rapidly evolving security landscape.

The new platform’s release comes as the security sector in Spain faces ongoing discussions about labor conditions and wage standards. Further details regarding the implementation of the 2027-2030 collective bargaining agreement are expected to be released in the coming months.
