Renault 4 E-Tech Expands Lineup with New Van Configurations for business Users
MAUBEUGE, FRANCE – Renault has expanded its all-electric 4 E-Tech lineup with the introduction of two new commercial vehicle variants: the Société Réversible and the Société Van. Designed for professionals needing versatile cargo solutions, these models cater to goods transport, equipment hauling, and last-mile delivery services.
The new vans are transformed from the standard Renault 4 E-Tech at the QStomize facility within Renault’s Maubeuge ElectriCity plant.Both versions boast a 52 kWh battery paired with a 150 hp electric motor, delivering a range of up to 409 km (WLTP cycle). Bidirectional charging capability is standard, allowing for a 15-80% charge in just 30 minutes using fast charging infrastructure.
The Société Van is offered exclusively in the Advance trim level, while the Société Réversible is available in Evolution and Techno equipment lines.Both configurations forgo rear seats and seatbelts, maximizing cargo space. A load tray with a load lock system and securing hooks are included as standard equipment.
Total storage capacity reaches 1,045 liters, including 55 liters of underfloor storage. The load area measures over 1.20 meters in length, and the van can carry a payload of up to 345 kg. A separating grid between the passenger and cargo areas is available as an optional extra on the Société Van, while luggage coverage and a non-slip rug come standard on both models.
Pricing for both the Société Réversible and Société Van starts at €29,300 in France. The Société Réversible in Techno trim is priced at €30,900. A range of optional extras for personalization and cosmetic enhancements are also available.
The launch of these van configurations underscores Renault’s commitment to providing electric solutions for a wider range of customer needs, extending beyond passenger vehicles into the light commercial vehicle segment.
