Journal of Communicable Disease Transitions to New Platform
A long-standing journal tracking communicable diseases in Australia is moving to a new platform. This change promises improved accessibility for research and public health information related to significant health threats.
Platform Upgrade Announced
Since 1977, the Journal of Communicable Disease (CDI) has published reports and peer-reviewed research focused on disease in Australia. The journal examines decades of research into public health through thousands of articles and reports. The journal is transitioning to the Open Journal Systems platform (OJS) for hosting.
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing managed the journal and its editorial team. The interim Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC) will now host the OJS platform.
