Piacenza Mayor Katia Tarasconi spoke at the event, stating, “From memory, beautiful things are always born.” Councilor for Sport, Mario Dadati, emphasized the importance of both the new gym and the quality of physical education instructors, noting, “a new gym is important but also having good teachers of motor sciences, two prerequisites to better live a school year also rich in fun.”
Professors Take on Students with Pro Reinforcements
The inaugural match pitted the school’s professors against its students. The professors’ team, coached by Dante Boninfante (Gas of the Gas Sales), received a significant boost with the participation of professional volleyball players Samuele Papi, Alessandro Fei, and Matteo Antonucci. The student team was guided by Michele Fanni, Technical Director of Vap, alongside President Corrado Marchetti.
