Latest, limited-edition merchandise celebrating Butterbeer Season has begun appearing at Universal Studios Florida, marking the start of the annual event on March 1st, 2026. The seasonal offering, which runs through May 31st, includes a range of items from t-shirts to spirit jerseys and bucket hats, all themed around the popular wizarding beverage.
A key item is the navy bucket hat, priced at $30, featuring a design resembling a woodcarved sign that reads “Serving Butterbeer.” The sign is further embellished with brewing icons, the Deathly Hallows symbol, and an image of The Boar’s Head, a pub featured in the Harry Potter series.
Complementing the hat is a $30 green t-shirt displaying a glass of Butterbeer on the front and a keg design reading “Serving Butterbeer” on the back. A white spirit jersey, retailing for $85, features a “splattered” Butterbeer design, with “Butterbeer” written in gold across the shoulders and “Brewed in the British Isles” underneath. The jersey also includes a glass of Butterbeer on the front and the collection’s signature icons on the sleeve.
Butterbeer, described as tasting “a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch,” is a well-known drink within the Harry Potter universe, served both hot and cold at establishments like the Three Broomsticks Inn and the Leaky Cauldron. While traditionally non-alcoholic, the beverage has inspired a variety of themed alcoholic drinks at Universal Orlando, including the Deathly Hallows drink and Pear Dazzle.
The Butterbeer Season event offers fans a chance to experience both new Butterbeer-flavored treats and the exclusive merchandise within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort. Alcoholic versions of Butterbeer are not officially offered, though guests can identify a range of other Harry Potter-themed alcoholic beverages at locations throughout Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.
